Cozy Cabled Bookmark – FREE Crochet Pattern
Cables are such a fun way to add texture to your crochet. I love the braided look it gives and how versatile this technique is (I’ve added cables to literally everything from home decor to kitchenware and accessories). So I just had to make a bookmark with them too!

We’re nearly at the end of my Bookmark Bonanza CAL with this month’s release. It’s been such a pleasant journey and I’ve read so many fabulous books of different genres that have really helped me achieve my goal of spending more time on this particular hobby of mine. I hope you decided to purchase the Bookmark Bonanza CAL Pattern Bundle where each pattern comes with a video tutorial and a little book review. That way, you can keep these patterns with you and crochet up your favorite bookmarks whenever you need them!
I’ve also loved the creativity in making the bookmarks in my Facebook group and CAL group on Ravelry and can’t wait to see your version of November’s offering.
For this month, we’ll be crocheting the Cozy Cabled Bookmark as we read the New York Times Bestseller The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better?
In The Midnight Library, Matt Haig’s enchanting blockbuster novel, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision. Faced with the possibility of changing her life for a new one, following a different career, undoing old breakups, realizing her dreams of becoming a glaciologist; she must search within herself as she travels through the Midnight Library to decide what is truly fulfilling in life, and what makes it worth living in the first place.

I love the texture cables add to crochet projects and once you get the hang of them, you can add them in literally any project such as this cup cozy.
You can wear them too!
This cozy earwarmer is the first pattern I ever designed and I love how chic it looks. Perfect to add to any outfit!
Or add to home decor…
These throw pillows will bring so much life to your sitting area and are great for giving as a housewarming present too.
Cables on the wall!
This wall hanging makes a great statement piece for the room and would be perfect to tie everything together.
