Christmas Bauble Covers
Crochet bauble covers are so trendy, unique, and perfect for handmade holiday decor. These Christmas ornaments work up quickly and make great gifts or you can them to adorn your own Christmas tree. Each one features different crochet stitches. Happy holiday crafting!
Mosaic Nordic Blanket
Last year, I hosted the C2C CAL and this year, I’m hosting a crochet along for this beautiful nordic-themed afghan made from mosaic crochet. The panels are all significant to this season and work up quickly once you get the hang of it. You can make this in two colors or more and all of the charts are absolutely FREE.
C2C Nordic Winter Blanket
In 2021, similar to this year’s CAL, I hosted this fabulous crochet-along which features 12 unique squares made with the corner-to-corner crochet technique. This is an heirloom project of mine because it depicts many of the images from the holiday season which have been a part of my childhood and are now a part of my children’s too. If you’re looking to make something special for your loved ones, this is a great project to dive into!
Cozy Alpine Plant Pot Cover
The alpine stitch is one of those wonderful ones that work up really quick and easy. This beginner-friendly crochet plant cover pattern is great if you’re looking to give your pots a cozy cover. One of the best (and freshest) gifts you can give someone is a little plant of their own and why not add a personal touch with this crochet pot cover?
Striped Moss Lapghan
This is another great pattern to curl up with once you get the hang of the repeat row. You can customize this easy crochet blanket to have as many (or as few) colors as you want. It could be a great stashbuster or a nice neutral-colored throw to toss over your sofa.
JJ’S Blankie
A textured crochet baby blanket for all the little ones out there — I know quite a few babies who would love to be wrapped up in this (and already are too!). Baby blankets are amazing, in my opinion, because not only do they give that warmth and coziness but also become pieces of attachment which hold lovely memories of their early days.
Granny’s Four-Square Pillow
If you’re a crocheter and you haven’t made something with granny squares, we have to get you started on this classic piece! Granny squares are everywhere — decor, outerwear, holiday crafts — and they’re just so darn pretty too. You can work up 8 of these in no time and have an entire cushion cover on hand. Or make more and put together a crochet motifs afghan, perhaps?
Georgia Wall Hanging
Handmade home decor makes a great statement piece for any room and if you gift a piece to someone, it definitely has sentimental value. If you feel like you need something to pull everything together in a space (especially if there are colors that might not be going together as you imagined), grab your hook and yarn and get to crocheting this wall hanging full of texture from cables and bobbles.
If you want this this pattern in strip form in order to make a blanket, view this post.
Cozy Bobble Pumpkins
Pumpkins are signature of fall — from pumpkin spice lattes to pumpkin pie topped with whipped cream and jack-o-lanterns. Adding to that list, here’s a pattern for fun bobble pumpkins which have unique texture and add autumn flair to any space.
Monstera Leaf Wall Hanging
This crochet tapestry pattern is more advanced than the previous one because it has a gorgeous Monstera Leaf worked into it (there’s a free chart to make sure you don’t get lost!). You get to decide which hook and yarn you want to make it with so that you can alter it for any wall space.
And that concludes my roundup of 10 Free Crochet Patterns Using Interesting Stitches. I hope you’ve found a new project you want to work on.
