Looking for a way to practice your crochet cables & the bobble stitch? Try making up the Georgia Blanket Strip. You can work this up as part of the Harmony Blanket CAL. Or you can repeat the pattern as many times as you’d like to create the Georgia Blanket – full pattern pending.
This pattern features the bobble stitch AND crochet cables.
The Harmony Blanket Crochet Along
The Georgia Blanket Strip pattern was featured on the Harmony Blanket CAL in November 2022. This is a crochet-a-long hosted by Shannon from A Loophole Fox and Agat from Made by Gootie.
They had an idea to host a CAL made with strips – each section designed by a different designer. They wanted the sections to be warm and not lacy but full of texture and inviting. I was given a starting stitch count and invited to come up with something that fit the vision they were going for.
I knew almost instantly that I wanted to feature my Georgia design. (I have a wall hanging pattern and a pillow pattern)
In case you’re just joining in, read more about the CAL. All of the patterns will be free on the designers’ blog, but if you prefer to download the PDF, you can purchase the pattern bundle.
