Free Alpine Crochet Blanket Pattern | Juniper Afghan | Serenity CAL
Have you heard of the gorgeous alpine stitch?
I love how it’s a combination of two very simple stitches and gives such a beautiful texture. If you’re a beginner and find complex stitches to be a challenge, this is a great one to try after your basics. And you can make so much with it! I’ve used it in everything from squares and bookmarks to stockings and plant cozies.

The Serenity Blanket Crochet Along 2023
The Juniper Blanket Strip pattern was featured on the Serenity Blanket CAL in November 2023. This is a similar blanket CAL to the 2022 Harmony Blanket CAL.
I was given a starting stitch count and invited to come up with something that fit the vision they were going for. If you want to know more, check out the main roundup page. All of the patterns released are free on the designers’ blog, but if you prefer to download the PDF, you can purchase the pattern bundle.
Last year, I incorporated my Georgia design in the strip (I have a wall hanging pattern and a pillow pattern with this) and this year, I decided to include my Juniper design.
