Mosaic Flower Garden Blanket Crochet along (CAL)
The Mosaic Flower Garden Blanket is an overlay mosaic crochet pattern being released as a Crochet Along in April 2024.
Come with me on a 5-week crochet journey to create a stunning heirloom blanket that will be passed down through generations. Designed for adventurous beginners, the Mosaic Flower Garden CAL uses the overlay mosaic crochet technique to easily craft intricate-looking colorwork designs without the hassle of yarn tangling or endless ends to weave in.
This CAL is run very similarly to the Nordic Star CAL from 2023.

Meet the Designer
Hello! My name is Erin. I’m everybody’s favorite token “crazy yarn lady” and the crocheter behind Juniper & Oakes.
I have been crocheting for more than 20 years, and have been publishing patterns since 2020.
One thing you should know about me is that I love hosting crochet-alongs. Crocheting in community fills me with joy! You may know me from hosting the Nordic Star CAL in 2023, the Nordic Winter C2C CAL or the Mosaic Nordic CAL or the Bookmark Bonanza CAL or the Desert Flower Pillow CAL or… you get the picture.
I just love seeing pictures of everyone’s WIPS and finished projects and I know you are going to love crocheting this heirloom that will keep everyone warm in the winter for generations to come.

Materials Needed
Yarn
Worsted weight (#4) yarn in 6 colors (I used Mary Maxim Maximum Value Yarn):
- Cottonwood (Color A) – 2515 yards/6 skeins
- Medium Green (Color B) – 860 yards/2 skeins
- Yellow (Color C) – 300 yards/1 skein
- Medium Violet (Color D) – 555 yards/2 skeins
- Medium Rose (Color E) – 300 yards/1 skein
- Medium Denim (Color F) – 300 yards/1 skein
Hook
- Size H / 5mm hook for main body.
- Size G+ / 4.5 mm hook for envelope border (go down a hook size).
Notions
- A good, sharp pair of scissors (you’ll be fastening off at the end of each round).
- Yarn needle (but you won’t be weaving in all those ends… don’t worry).
I hope you’re excited to crochet along with me!
Are ever going to offer the Garden Mosaic for free to people who can’t afford it. I realize $10.99 is a steal but I’m on disability and funds are low.
Yes, I plan to offer it as a free CAL next Spring. Thanks for your understanding.
I bought this pattern, but only received the written instructions. Can you tell me how to find the chart, video, etc.
Love your patterns.
Thank you
