Bobble Heart Granny Square – Free Crochet Pattern for Valentines Day
Sometimes, instead of getting into a complex project, you just want to crochet a simple and sweet piece that finishes up in no time. I know it’s very satisfying to put together a big afghan or a pretty cardigan (especially one you’ve been working on for so long), but it’s nice to kick back and relax to a quick, easy crochet pattern as well.
That’s where this Bobble Heart Square comes in. It’s beginner-friendly and once you get the hang of the pattern, you can crochet sets of 4 to gift to all of your loved ones while keeping plenty for yourself too. You can use up all of the scrap pinks and purples and reds you have from your February 14 projects.
It’s a chic twist on your classy granny square and you can even use it for bigger crochet items as well such as piecing 4 into a cushion cover or many into an afghan or wall hanging. The bobbles add a touch of dimension you will definitely love.
This is a textured pattern with detailed instructions to make sure your heart doesn’t turn out lopsided. It’s a part of the 14 Days of Heart Blog Hop and you can read all about that (and find some fabulous patterns as well) down below.
