Six Wall Hanging Patterns You Have to Make
While we crochet all sorts of fabulous things for our homes, from cushion covers and Afghans to table runners, potholders, coasters, and even plant cozies, sometimes the walls get a bit neglected from this craft! I like to add color and character to every nook of my home to give it that personal touch, and handmade wall hangings are one of the best ways to do it.
These crochet tapestry patterns use a variety of stitches and techniques and you can make them with whatever yarn and colors you like. If you’re renting a place and not allowed to paint or wallpaper the walls, add some of these up wherever you want! If you can’t find the right painting to hang up which will tie the theme of a room together, you’re sure to find a pattern in this bundle for the perfect finishing touch. Scroll on down for more information on each pattern.

2. Harlow Wall Hanging
This is a color block handmade tapestry with an abstract undertone that really gives it a unique look. If you have some scrap yarn lying around, you can put this wall hanging together in no time. The clear detailed instructions and basic stitches make this a great evening project.
3. Georgia Wall Hanging
We’re coming to the slightly more advanced crochet tapestries now! 4. Heart in a Basket wall hanging
Handmade home decor makes a great statement piece for any room and if you gift a piece to someone, it definitely has sentimental value. This crochet pattern features a big heart in the center, adding wholesomeness to it. You can attach it to your walls to represent the love your family shares or present it to a loved one to remind them they’re always in your heart.
5. Springtime Bobbles Wall Hanging
Here’s another wall hanging that features the fun bobble stitch! This textured crochet tapestry will look great in any room, whether it’s the living room or the kids’ bedroom. Its name comes from the bright and fresh flowers that begin to bloom during the spring and add pops of life and color everywhere — just like these bobble stitches!
6. Monstera Leaf Wall Hanging
This crochet tapestry pattern is more advanced than the previous ones because it has a gorgeous Monstera Leaf worked into it (there’s a free chart to make sure you don’t get lost!). If you have a green thumb and want to show it off, here’s a great way to do so (aside from all the plants you probably have in your home). You get to decide which hook and yarn you want to make it with so that you can alter it for any wall space.
