Quick & Easy Crochet Christmas Tree Ornament – Twisty Tree FREE Pattern
Christmas is approaching and I am starting to think about chopping down our family’s annual Christmas tree. Do you prefer to have a real tree? or a fake one?
Whichever you prefer, I’m sure you’re looking to trim your tree with some unique, and maybe homemade ornaments. Look no further! I have a great, option for you . . . The Twisty Tree ornament!
If you make these in one color, they look like a Christmas Tree. You can add more color like I did to go in a different, fun, festive direction! I have the pattern available for free as a video tutorial on YouTube. Or you can purchase the written pattern on Ravelry or Etsy.

Inspiration
The inspiration behind these little guys was the wind spinners I saw all over TikTok over the summer. Maybe you’ve seen them?
About the Yarn
I used Wool of the Andes yarn to make my ornaments. This yarn was generously gifted to me by WeCrochet to use as a design for the Winter Wonders Blog Hop & Bundle, and I had a bit left over, so why not!
My other patterns using Wool of the Andes:
I chose to use the Wool of the Andes yarn because I am used to working with worsted weight yarn, and really wanted to try out this line, as it seems to be their basic wool worsted weight yarn. Have you used it? What do you think?
You can use my affiliate link to shop this yarn, and browse for other favorites. I used Mighty Stitch in my Monstera Leaf C2C Afghan and the wall hanging too, as well as Brava Worsted for my Cozy Alpine Pumpkins, and Swish worsted for my Nordic CAL.
If you enjoy this pattern and are looking for another quick pattern to crochet, look no further than the Cozy Alpine Pumpkin. This pumpkin features the alpine stitch to create a crocheted pumpkin patch unlike any other.
