Pattern Notes:
- This design was the basis for the August section of the Monthly Mosaic Mystery CAL hosted by Juniper & Oakes. You can read more about the CAL by clicking here.
- Ch 1 does not count as a stitch.
- Pattern is worked in the round on RS only. No turning is involved.
For the Mosaic Rounds (5-15)
- Every round is worked in a different color.
- Instead of fastening off at the end of each round, just drop the yarn on the WS, and pick it up when you need it again.
- Each round begins with ch 1, has a repeat of 6 stitches, and ends with a sl st.
- This pattern includes a chart and written instructions below. You may want to refer to each.
- The chart begins with Round 5 and ends with Round 14.
- Test fit with the ornament throughout. If you find the bauble is too tight or too loose, the adjust your hook size accordingly. If you tend to have loose tension when you crochet, you may need to go down a hook size to make this bauble, or simply buy a bigger bauble to make your finished size.
