Learn to Crochet: Half Double Crochet Between the Posts
Do you ever get bored of the same crochet textures used over & over again? I know I do. Say hello to the Half Double Crochet Between the Posts.
Recently I’ve been using the half-double crochet (HDC) stitch in a lot of my projects and patterns. I love that stitch. But after awhile it gets boring, and I want to switch up the texture a bit.
This is a stitch that I first discovered on Daisy Farm Crafts instagram awhile back. Have you used it before?
It’s a pretty simple stitch, especially if you already know how to do the HDC stitch. Instead of working each stitch in the top two loops as normal, you work the stitch under
My first pattern I’ve used for it is the Springtime Bobbles Wall Hanging (which is yet to be fully released). In that pattern I used bobbles and HDC worked between the posts to add some fun springtime texture and colors to the walls of your home.
