How to Crochet C2C using HDC
When I was setting out to design the Nordic Winter C2C Afghan CAL, I wanted the charts to be big enough to have some detail but didn’t want the finished blanket squares to be overly large. I thought that normal double crochet C2C stitches would create an extra-large blanket that would be unmanageable.
Then I discovered the half double crochet corner to corner method.

The main difference between the two methods is HDC uses ch 2 + 3 hdc stitches per tiles (ch 5 + 3 hdc for increases).
