Puff Stitch Bookmark – FREE Crochet Pattern
Spumoni has a mixture of flavors and I like to use this term for my makes which have a few different stitches and textures tossed into the mix. A great way to practice your stitches and experiment with what looks fabulous together!

At the start of 2023, I promised to release beautiful and unique bookmark patterns throughout the year in my Bookmark Bonanza CAL. Many of you opted to grab a copy of all of the patterns with the Bookmark Bonanza CAL Pattern Bundle where each pattern comes with a video tutorial and a little book review. And now, we’re nearing the end of the year with the third-to-last bookmark.
I’ve loved seeing the creativity and different yarn types/colors used to make the bookmarks in my Facebook group and CAL group on Ravelry. Pretty soon, you’ll have the whole set ready and can gift it to someone for the holidays. Or, as I like to say, one can never have too many bookmarks lying around! It seems they always go missing so it’s really great to have so many new ones on hand.
For this month, we’ll be crocheting the Spumoni Bookmark as we read Finlay Donovan is Killing It. The title should give you a hint of the mystery that’s inside!
FINLAY DONOVAN IS KILLING IT… except, she’s really not. The new book she promised her literary agent isn’t written, her ex-husband fired the nanny without telling her, and this morning she had to send her four-year-old to school with hair duct-taped to her head.
When Finlay’s overheard discussing the plot of her new novel with her agent over lunch, she’s mistaken for a contract killer and inadvertently accepts an offer to dispose of a problem husband in order to make ends meet… and she soon discovers that crime in real life is a lot more difficult than its fictional counterpart.
Go ahead and grab yourself a copy on Amazon.
Don’t have time to work this up right now? Pin it for later.
(This pattern is also available in an ad-free printable PDF file for only $2.00. It can be downloaded instantly from Etsy or Ravelry.)

I also used this stitch combination in the Porch ‘n’ Picnic Blanket that was featured in the Summer 2022 issue of Crochet Foundry Magazine.
