Cabled Coffee Sleeve Crochet Pattern

Materials
Yarn: size 4 worsted, about 50 yards
Hook: J/10 – 6.0mm
- I love using Furls Hooks like this.
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Gauge
14 st x 9 rows in a 4” square
Stitch used to obtain gauge: Double Crochet
Stitch Abbreviations
- BPdc – back post double crochet
- Ch – chain
- Dc – double crochet
- FPdc – front post double crochet
- FPtr – front post treble crochet
- RS – right side
- Sc – single crochet
- Sk – skip
- WS – wrong side
Notes
- US Terminology
- When the row begins with CH3, it does count as a st.
- Instead of beginning a row with CH 3, you may want to choose to use a false (or chainless) DC stitch as explained in this video: https://youtu.be/wAInvsmbJNo?t=468
- Add or subtract rows or cables for larger or smaller circumference
- The 3 FPTr in the 3 sk DC are worked in front of the first 3 FPTr

Ch 17
Row 1: (WS) Starting 2nd st from hook, SC in each (16)
Row 2: (RS) Ch 3, DC in next, FPDC in next, BPDC in next 2 st, FPDC in next 6 st, BPDC in next 2 st, FPDC in next, DC in next 2 st (16)
Row 3: (WS) Ch 3, DC in next, BPDC in next, FPDC in next 2 st, BPDC in next 6 st, FPDC in next 2 st, BPDC in next, DC in next 2 st (16)
Row 4: (RS) Ch 3, DC in next, FPDC in next, BPDC in next 2 st, sk next 3 st, FPTr in next 3 st, go back to first sk st FPtr in each of next 3 st, BPDC in next 2 st, FPDC in next, DC in next 2 st (16)
Row 5: (WS) Ch 3, DC in next, BPDC in next, FPDC in next 2 st, BPDC in next 6 st, FPDC in next 2 st, BPDC in next, DC in next 2 st (16)
Row 6-22: Repeat rows 2-5 for a total of 5 cables
Join: Holding right sides together and working along short side, sl st through both loops of each side to join.
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
