Unboxing: Knitting Fever yarn Mail
Discovering Crocheting Treasures: My Joyful Unboxing from Knitting Fever Inc.
Hey friend! I’m so glad you’re here because I have something super fun to share with you today. I recently received the most amazing package from Knitting Fever Inc. (KFI), and let me tell youโI felt like a kid on Christmas morning unboxing all the beautiful yarns they sent over. If you love squishy skeins and dreaming up new projects, you’re going to love this peek into what I got!
Yarns from Around the World
Each yarn in this box had its own personality and backstory, and I couldn’t stop smiling as I pulled them out one by one:
- Louisa Harding Poofy โ This is a brushed extra fine merino from Tuscany, and itโs incredibly soft and fluffy. Definitely one of those yarns that you just want to snuggle with.
- Fiesta by Araucania Yarns โ Ethically sourced Virgin Merino Wool from South America. The colors are lively, and I can already imagine it working up into something show-stopping.
- Juniper Moon Farm Yarns โ I got a couple different bases from them, including their 100% organic Peruvian cotton and the dreamy Cumulus, which is 94% cotton and 6% nylon. Itโs so light and airyโperfect for a spring or summer project.
The textures and weights ranged from worsted to super bulky, which gives me so much room to play when planning out patterns.
Project Ideas Already Spinning
Right away, I started thinking about what I could create. Overlay mosaic crochet patterns popped into my mind firstโespecially using some of the more contrasting colors together. Thereโs definitely a baby blanket in the near future, and maybe even something more adventurous!
I also had a sweet little moment when I unboxed the Cirrus yarnโit’s the same name as my husband’s workplace. You know I had to geek out a little about that.
And for all my plushie makers out there, there’s a velvety chenille yarn in the box thatโs absolutely perfect for amigurumi. Plus, the Highland Wool and Alpaca blend? So luxurious. I can’t wait to get it on my hook.
A Quick Note About Shopping Local
Something that really stood out to me is that most of these yarns are available at your local yarn shop. That makes my heart happy because supporting small businesses and our maker communities is so important. If anything in this unboxing caught your eye, I encourage you to check out what your local shop has in stock.
Final Thoughts
This unboxing experience was such a treat, and Iโm truly grateful to Knitting Fever Inc. for sending me this lovely selection of yarns. I hope watching me unbox them brings you as much joy as it brought me opening it all up!
Let me know in the comments what you’d make with some of these yarnsโor if you’ve tried any of them before. And donโt forget to like, subscribe, and share if youโre loving the yarny goodness!
