Pattern Notes
- US Terminology
- When a row begins with Ch 1, the ch does not count as a st.
- When the row begins with Ch 3, it does count as a st.
- The cables cheat sheet is for reference only, as it shows cabling worked flat vs in the round, and for a 6 stitch cable, this pattern is for a 4 stitch cable.
- The first twist in the cables is worked in Round.
- The increase in Round 8 occurs between by working 4th dc and 3rd fptr in the same stitch. See video tutorial.
- The corners are worked in row 9.
- There will be 8 total cables, each with 4 twists.
- When the pattern says “cable” work as follows: sk next 2 st, fptr in next 2 st, fptr around 1st sk st, fptr in the next st, then continue on working the next dc after the cable
- It is important to block the project to even out the square.
