Over eight weeks, we’ll crochet it together one section at a time: two mosaic strips and three snowflake squares, joined with my signature envelope border that hides your ends as you go. A new section is released every Monday, with catch-up weeks built in, so you can finish in time to wrap up in it this winter.

When does the CAL start?
Monday, October 12. A new section is released every Monday for five weeks, with the joining and envelope border released November 16.
Can I join late?
Absolutely. Every section stays available inside the Collective, and we have two catch-up weeks built in. Jump in whenever you’re ready.
What’s the difference between the free version and the paid pattern?
The free version includes Section 1 and one snowflake square with written instructions. The complete pattern (and the Collective) includes all five sections, the joining and envelope border, and full mosaic charts.
What yarn do I need?
The sample is crocheted in Lion Brand Heartland in:
- Acadia (7 skeins)
- Redwood (6 skeins)
- Rocky Mountains (4 skeins)
You’ll also need a 5 mm (H) hook. The finished blanket is 48″ x 64″ (unblocked).
